Senior School

Typically ages 14–16

Senior School is the examined stage before Sixth Form. Families choose O Level, IGCSE or International GCSE. Each route is taught over two years. Pupils who join late can take a three-year route where the record supports it.

O Level

Two years · three for late joiners

A syllabus-led course with a strong emphasis on the written paper, taught over two years, or three where a late joiner needs the extra time.

  • Subject skills mapped against the syllabus
  • Scheduled practice in exam-style questions
  • Guidance on exam entries and the days around the papers

IGCSE

Two years · three for late joiners

A broad international qualification with room for projects and practical work, taught over two years, or three for late joiners.

  • A subject plan agreed with the family
  • Live classes plus guided independent study
  • A clear handoff toward Sixth Form

International GCSE

Two years · three for late joiners

International GCSE for families who need that route, taught over the same two-year pattern, with a three-year option for late joiners.

  • Placement on the evidence of the pupil’s record
  • Full subject teaching toward the papers
  • University counselling starts before results day
